Nancy will travel to speak to kids wherever she is invited. She speaks to students, girl scouts, summer groups, and people who are trying to quit smoking.

Nancy is a former smoker. When she lost her voice box to cancer, her doctor urged her to speak to kids about other problems that may result from smoking. You can hear a pin drop when Nancy speaks to students and she has a tremendous impact on their lives. Kids think they can live forever, but they don't want to be embarrassed by not being like other people who can speak without assistance. One of my adult friends heard Nancy speak and quit a 2 pack per day habit.

Nancy has reached more than 22,000 in the last 8 years with her message.

Nancy doesn't receive pay for her efforts. She works diligently to help others avoid what happened to her. She deserves a medal for her efforts and dedication.
