From 1996 until today, Rachel Ewald has fostered dozens of children, giving them opportunities they would never have had without her love and care.
In the year 2000, Rachel formed a non-profit organization called the Foster Care Support Foundation to meet the needs of these children. She has worked with religious and government leaders, business leaders and non-government organizations to raise funds to support the group. She has also coordinated volunteers to receive, sort, and distribute donations.
In the year 2003 the Foundation clothed and outfitted 2,300 children. Rachel also runs a state-approved class for foster parent training once a month.
Overall, Rachel has fostered approximately 35 children, as well as raising four kids of her own. She is the quintessential mother, and nurturing young people to her is like breathing.
